<title>One of El Paso's great assets is its history </title>

	El Paso is full of old west history spanning six decades and it includes some of the most exciting and interesting characters and events in the old West. From the Magoffin Salt War in 1854, thru the last known gun fight in 1916, El Paso has had it all. There were blood feuds, killings over family honor, and outright murder for profit. At one time or another, almost every famous character of the Old West passed thru the Sun City.</p>

	Here&rsquo;s a chance to step back in time and relive a little of that history this week!</p>

	<strong><em>&quot;Meeting of the John Wesley Hardin Secret Society&quot; </em></strong></p>

	&nbsp;Every year on August 19 the Secret Society meets to Relive and celebrate that fateful evening in August when Gunfighter John Wesley Hardin met his demise at the hands of that dastardly Constable &quot;Uncle&quot; John Selman.</p>
<p>
	Join them graveside this Aug. 19, 2010 at 7:00 PM to relive that<em>&quot;fateful night&quot; </em>in 1896.</p>
<p>
	Event re-enacted by El Paso&rsquo;s own Wild West Show &quot;Six Guns and Shady Ladies&quot;.</p>
<p>
	Short Ghost Tours by Paso Del Norte Paranormal Society of the cemetery will also be offered.</p>
<p>
	Raffle tickets available for some great prizes along with entertainment and so much more.</p>
