<title>El Paso ranked No. 1 for best mid-size city for jobs</title>

	Even in the midst of a down economy, Forbes ranked El Paso the No. 1 mid-size city for jobs in their recently released &quot;Best Cities for Jobs&quot; list. Rankings of 398 metropolitan areas were based on employment data from November 1999 to January 2011 from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The categories that were analyzed to come up with the rankings included: recent growth trends, mid-term growth, long term growth and momentum.</p>
<p>
	The rankings were broken down by size: small, medium and large, since regional economies differ markedly due to their scale.</p>
